why am i not puttng weight on?
traditionally my phsyciality is associated with podge. however since attending the gym hardcore cardio style the last 2.5 years (i.e. 1 hour 12km runs 4 times a week or equivalent hard exercise on the cross trainer), ive kept the weight off. only now the gym i attend is shut for xmas (school gym). ive eaten more than my weight in chocolate, my weight again in sweets and turkey. not to mention drank my weight in wine, champagne and cider.
i look in the mirror with the new dri-fit nike tshirt i bought in the sale, which is quite tight fitting, and i havent put any weight on, despite my podgy history. why is this ? is it due to age? im 22, other than xmas, i normally eat crap food, but an equal amount of good stuff inc. veg, fruit, pasta, wholemeal bread and spread it out across the day.
It's because your metabolism is still sky high, it'll takes about a month for your body to tune into a new diet so enjoy it, but not for to long otherwise you will undo all your good work..
