How can I make my boobs stand out less?
I'm 16. I'm slightly over weight, but I look more sturdy than fat. I have curves, and boobs that stick out like crazy. I'm a D, and because of them I usually have to wear an XL. The problem is at church I'm an usher and have to wear a button down shirt. When I wear a L, the top is way too tight. When I wear an XL, I usually have to unbutton the top button or two with a cami underneath. It doesn't look risque or anything, but it shows a little too much skin for church. Plus a lot of the old guys seem to stare...Another issue is that with an XL, it is really loose on my hips, but tight on my chest. I can't go a size bigger, or it'll be even worse. Do you have any suggestions on dealing with this and how to make them stand out less?
Get a proper fitted bra! You are most likely larger than a D, but a lot of girls don't want to go any bigger than that so they stuff themselves into a smaller size than they should be wearing.
I thought I was wearing the right sized bra and ended up needing to go up 2 cup sizes after getting a professional fitting. It actually made my boobs look smaller and clothes fit better because I didn't have the whole double boob effect with half my boob popping out the top.
You could also try looking in stores for bigger sized tops that look the same or similar to the ones you need to wear for church. That might make you feel more comfortable. If you can't find one, talk to the lady who does the tops at your church and ask if she can source some bigger sizes because you're feeling a bit immodest with having to have some buttons undone.
